A Western Bay man has been arrested following 8 days on the lam.

On February 9, RCMP issued an arrest warrant for 31-year-old Justin King in relation to a number of alleged criminal and traffic violations.

King is accused of fleeing from police during two recent attempted traffic stops.

The Mounties say King owes more than $15,000 in fines and is suspended from driving. They say he frequently changes out vehicles to avoid detection.

King will appear in court this afternoon, Harbour Grace RCMP thank the public for the information they received.
