Two Para athletes from this province have been selected to attend Team Canada’s Para Hockey training camp.
Former Paralympian Liam Hickey of St. John’s, a two time silver medal champion, is in Montreal for the event.
Joining him is 16-year-old para-hockey prospect Gavin Baggs of Paradise.
St. John’s native A.J. Murley was also named to the squad as equipment manager.
Players at the camp will be evaluated by scouts to advance to a national team series tournament against the United States in April.
