Early Childhood Educators in the province have the date, now they’re waiting on the final details of their wage grid, which is information that the minister responsible says will soon be coming.

Education Minister (Alternate) Tom Osborne revealed last week that the long-awaited grid will be implemented on April 1 of this year, with ECE’s being retroactively paid back to January 1—the original implementation date that government gave.

However, questions still remain from educators about what the final product looks like.

Osborne says they won’t have to wait much longer as the details will be released “in the next week or so.”
