The hearings of the Inquiry into the Treatment, Experiences and Outcomes of Innu in the Child Protection System are being postponed due to a sudden death in Sheshatshiu.

Hearings scheduled for tomorrow through to Thursday will be moved to a later date.

The project says the postponement is out of respect for the grieving community as a whole.

The new dates will be set in the coming days.
