Bay St. George RCMP is investigating after a large quantity of cash was stolen from a home in Stephenville.
Police say the break-in occurred sometime between 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
No one was home at the time, however the resident has indicated that the door was been forced open.
The suspect left a distinctive mask behind at the scene.
