A record-breaking stretch for New Jersey Devils forward and Bay Roberts native Dawson Mercer.
Mercer broke the Devils’ record for most consecutive games played to start an NHL career last weekend at 141—surpassing the previous record-holder, Scott Gomez.

Mercer is also on a goal scoring streak with nine goals in his last seven games.
He told reporters in New Jersey, he’s having a blast.
