Hospitality NL recognized a number of employees and businesses in the tourism industry as part of the annual Tourism Excellence Awards Gala.
Ten awards were presented to tourism operators and employees who have made contributions to tourism in Newfoundland and Labrador.
This year featured a new award, the Celebrate NL Employee Award of Excellence, which was presented to Joy Cronin, a front desk agent at the Capital Hotel in St. John’s.
Among the winners were Quidi Vidi Brewery, Steele Hotels and Hew & Draw Hotel.
The event, held in Gander, marked the end of Hospitality NL’s Conference and Trade Show.
