One woman was taken to hospital following a house fire in Paradise yesterday afternoon.
The fire broke out in the lower level of a split-entry home on Christopher Street around 2:30 yesterday afternoon.
The Canadian Red Cross says the woman was treated in hospital and released.
Two people were displaced by the blaze which caused damage to the lower level and smoke damage throughout the home.
The Red Cross assisted with both emergency lodging and purchases like clothing, food and other basics.
