The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has made an arrest in connection with a violent attack in Corner Brook last Friday.

RNC were called to the area of Elizabeth Street and Beothuk Crescent around 7:30 that night and found a 57-year-old man in need of medical attention. The man was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

No other details are publicly available about the nature of this incident at this time.
