Immigration Minister Gerry Byrne is in Halifax this week to attend a forum with his provincial, federal, and territorial counterparts.
Byrne will be discussing Canada’s support for Ukraine, installing Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada staff in Newfoundland and Labrador, supports for Roxham Road asylum seekers, and increased funding for Newfoundland and Labrador settlement agencies.
The forum is taking place today and tomorrow.
