The province’s tourism minister says he is feeling good after he was forced to take time off following emergency surgery earlier this year.
Steve Crocker, who is also the MHA for Carbonear-Trinity-Bay de Verde, had been off since receiving the procedure in early January.
In the interim, Sarah Stoodley took over his ministerial duties while John Hogan assumed the role of government house leader.
Crocker made one of his first public appearances since returning to office earlier this week during a funding announcement at the Green Belt Tennis Club. Crocker says he is feeling fine and it’s great to be back to work, though he is taking it slowly. He thanked Stoodley and Hogan for stepping in for him.
