Power has been restored to a section of Conception Bay Highway after a dump truck struck a power line.

Late Friday evening, a dump truck belonging to the Town of CBS struck the line near RNC headquarters, knocking out power and creating traffic delays.

Traffic diversions remain in effect and residents are asked to find an alternate route until further notice.
