A black bear came within 20 yards of a hiker on the Avalon yesterday, who captured the encounter in a video being shared on social media.

Jordan Wells was near Cataracts Provincial Park just off route 92 when he captured what appears to be a young black bear nearby.

It happened at around 1:00 yesterday afternoon.
