Some travelers have been left wondering what’s happening after encountering some long wait times while going through security screening at YYT.
The St. John’s International Airport Authority says it has recently encountered some longer than normal wait times during pre-boarding security screening.
The airport says it is working with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority to monitor wait times, and the union is actively reallocating resources to address what the airport calls periodic longer wait times.
