Members of the FFAW launched an impromptu rally outside the Association of Seafood Producers office in the capital city’s east end this morning.
Talks between the union and ASP broke down yesterday amid confusion over offers reportedly made and rescinded.
The union is accusing ASP of bargaining in bad faith.
The protesters went to OCI headquarters on Topsail Road after leaving the east end of downtown. They spoke with OCI management where talks seemed cordial, then dispersed. All was peaceful.
