A new program called Learning at the Museum was launched at The Rooms Thursday, aimed at improving accessibility to cultural institutions for adult learners and their families.
The Department of Education is providing $56,000 in funding for the year-long pilot program, a collaboration between ABC Life Literacy Canada and The Rooms.
By offering interactive workshops and customized family literacy activities, the program aims to boost confidence and encourage participation in cultural activities.
This initiative seeks to make cultural spaces more accessible and inclusive for all.
