Ronald McDonald House will officially be cutting the ribbon on their new Family Time Playground this week.
The organization officially broke ground on the project last summer and, after an extensive fundraising process, reached its final goal in January.
The park, which will serve immunocompromised children and their families while they are receiving treatment, will include fencing, a barbecue and patio area, accessible playground and play area, gathering space and vegetable garden.
Members of Ronald McDonald House, as well as Premier Andrew Furey, will officially open the park on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
