A local company is in the running for Canada Post’s Tales of Triumph contest celebrating small business.
Newbornlander, a social enterprise that sells safe and ethical products for babies, was established in St. John’s by Constanza Safatle who came to the province from Chile.
Newbornlander is in the Doing Good category and is the only local company among the 15 overall finalists in the contest.
Canadians will be able to vote for their favourite business for the Canada’s Choice winner while Canada Post employees will vote for the Employee’s Choice Winner. Judges will then select one winner per category from the remaining finalists.
Voting is now underway on Canada Post’s social media sites, and runs through to the June 30. Winners will be announced in October which is Small Business Month.
