The Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure is looking forward to a meeting with NAPE officials to discuss concerns raised about staffing levels among water bomber pilots.
NAPE says staffing levels are at historic lows, while demand for water bomber services continues to increase with mutual service agreements in place with other jurisdictions.
Minister Elvis Loveless says recruitment is something they’re continuing working on, and they’ve just hired on another pilot.
