The provincial government is providing additional funding to expand the Roots of Empathy Program in school’s across the province.
Roots of Empathy is aimed at improving behaviour in elementary-aged children by exposing them to the vulnerability of a baby.
A one time boost of $89,000 will expand on the over 150 schools who have took part in the program since 2001.
