The capital city is holding a special concert for seniors later this month.
The annual Party in the Park features local performers and light refreshments free of charge for seniors. This year Clay Coombs and Harris Porter, Brett Crane, Elaine Dunphy and Paddy Burke will be performing.
The city will provide a bus to pick-up attendees at complexes around St. John’s. The fee for the bus is $6. Those looking to register for the bus service can do so online at RecConnect, in-person at the H.G.R. Mews or Paul Reynolds Community Centres, or by calling 576-8499 or 576-8631.
The show takes place July 19 on the lawn by the Bowring Park Bungalow.
