A 53-year-old Harbour Breton man is facing drug charges as the result of an ongoing investigation.
RCMP from the Harbour Breton and Grand Falls-Windsor detachments as well as the federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit have been involved in the investigation which led to a traffic stop on the Baie d’Espoir Highway last Friday.
Police say Angus Snook was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than $9,000.
The vehicle and its contents were seized.
Snook, who has been charged with trafficking, was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
