A boil order is in effect in Steady Brook on the province’s west coast.

A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for the town as E-coli has been detected in the water.

Any water used for drinking, brushing teeth, making ice, washing food, cooking and making infant formula must be brought to a rolling boil for one minute before being ingested.
