The provincial PCs are once again decrying the federal government for their clean fuel regulations.

Leader David Brazil says the federal Liberals’ decision to “ignore” people in the province and press ahead with the expansion of the carbon tax and clean fuel regulations is already driving up the cost of living here, “and it’s only going to get worse.”

He says the increases are starting to ripple through the economy, and he’s already hearing from families who can’t make ends meet and business owners who are worried about possible layoffs.

Brazil contends that the Liberals don’t care about the effects of their policies on the economy, and says government has lost its moral compass and doesn’t deserve respect or support.
