The administration at O’Donel High in Mount Pearl has issued a warning to parents of students after becoming aware of a list of tasks issued to “initiate” new students.

The list of tasks, crafted by senior students, target Grade 10 students and are believed to start today.

The tasks include encouraging students to, in some cases, commit acts of vandalism, harassment, exploitation, abuse and other activities deemed criminal or racist in nature.

They include posting nude pictures, sharing nude pictures of themselves or others, and putting foreign objects in their bodies.

The school has shared the information with the RNC, and similar activities in the past have seriously affected students and resulted in police investigations.
