RCMP in Bay Roberts are hoping to speak with a woman who may have information on an incident reported to have occurred near the splash pad and playground at the Wilbur Sparkes Recreation Complex in Bay Roberts yesterday afternoon.

The incident is reported to have occurred between 2:00 and 3:30 on Thursday, August 17th.

The woman is described as being in her late 20s or early 30s with very short hair. She was with children at the time.

Police are asking the woman, or anyone who can identify her, to contact Bay Roberts RCMP at 709-786-2118 so they can confirm information related to the report received by police.

There is no current concern for public safety.
