A 22-year-old man is facing assault charges after an incident in St. John’s yesterday evening.
Around 6:30 p.m., police were called to a suspicious vehicle parked in the east end of the capital city.
Officers arrived at the scene and saw a man assaulting a woman inside the vehicle.
He’s been charged with common assault. The woman did not suffer any injuries as a result.
