Western NL Food Hub Grand Opening on Wednesday

Food First NL’s new Western NL Food Hub will be officially launched this week.

While the online store opened to the public in July, the official grand opening is scheduled tomorrow.

The social enterprise helps to connect customers with local producers through an online store and their pickup location. The Food Hub is part of a partnership with Choices for Youth to help employ young people who have difficulties gaining employment.

The grand opening is scheduled for tomorrow from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Herald Avenue in Corner Brook.
