Damage to a segment of the T’Railway Provincial Park caused by heavy rains earlier this summer has been repaired.
The portion of the T’Railway between Heatherton and MacDougall’s on the west coast has been reopened to users.
The segment between MacDougall’s and Port aux Basques remains closed while repair work continues.
More heavy rain is in the forecast for the area today and tonight.
The Department of Tourism is asking that any damage to, or concerns about the T’Railway be reported to the department’s Parks Division by email at trailway@gov.nl.ca or by calling 709-637-2040.
