The Nunatsiavut Government has agreed in principle to operate the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Hub, which is set to be built in the community.
The government already operates the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Emergency shelter and the Supportive Living Program, as well as seven supportive living units.
They say that given their experience in administering support programs in both Nunatsiavut and Upper Lake Melville, they are a fitting choice to manage the new building.
