An Aer Lingus passenger jet was forced to make an unscheduled landing at St. John’s International Airport on Sunday afternoon.
The aircraft, enroute from Manchester to New York, touched down shortly before 4:00 p.m. and was gone again within a couple of hours.
A spokesperson for the airport would only say that it involved a medical emergency.
