The St. John’s Retired Citizen’s Association, which operates out of their facility at 10 Bennett Avenue, is hosting a membership drive today.
President Tom Making says the volunteer organization provides a number of programs to seniors including music lessons, low-impact seniors programs, bridge games, and a variety of activities to keep seniors engaged and make new friends.
“And that’s really key,” says Making as the summer winds down and we start moving into the long winter months.
The membership drive is taking place today from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
