A 29-year-old Bonavista man is facing a list of additional charges following a break-in and the theft of liquor in the town.
RCMP say Ryan Keats was arrested on Saturday in relation to multiple breaches of a court-imposed release order issued just a few days earlier. The conditions included a curfew, and to leave Bonavista within 24 hours of his release from custody last week.
Police say Keats is now charged in connection with a break-in at a restaurant and two counts of theft from convenience stores.
The charges against him include break and enter, two counts of theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property, possession of a break-in instrument, damage to property, public mischief and breaches. He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
