St. John’s Sports & Entertainment has appointed a new CEO.

Brent Meade has more than 25 years experience in both the public and private sectors, having worked with the provincial government for years.

Meade was also a member of the steering committee that led to the expansion of the St. John’s Convention Centre.

Chair of the SJSEL Board of Directors, Stephen Dinn says they’re thrilled, and they believed that Meade’s experience will be “invaluable in guiding St. John’s Sports & Entertainment” through the next phase of its growth and development.

Meade takes on his new position October 18th, replacing outgoing CEO Jill Brewer.
