The province has launched a new wildfire dashboard.

The dashboard features information about active wildfires and their size and location, as well as suppression activities. Similar dashboards are used in other provinces and jurisdictions across the country.

The platform also features past wildfire data, including year-over-year data tracking the number of fires per season.

So far this season, there have been 100 wildfires in Newfoundland and Labrador.
