The RNC has identified more social media accounts, and another residence linked to their ongoing Markus Hicks investigation.
Hicks, a teacher and volleyball coach is currently facing 63 charges related to what police say was the use of fake social media accounts, deception and concealment, to arrange sex acts.
His Trail’s End, Paradise home was seized as part of the investigation.
Police previously asked any one who may communicated with social media accounts Isabella Ricci, username bellaricci4, or Corinne Smith, username smittycor15, to come forward with information.
Now police have identified three more usernames of interest:
• Maria Winchester – This name is believed to have been used historically and may have communicated with individuals across the province on social media and chat platforms.
• Brittany Campbell – This name was primarily used on social media platforms.
• Bradol15 – This username identified themselves as a male and is believed to have communicated on multiple social media and dating applications.
RNC Constable James Cadigan says the Winchester account dates back years to the days of MSN in the 2000s.
The accused has also been linked back to a second residence, this time on Bullocks Town Road in Torbay.
A dedicated email has been set up related to the case at trust@rnc.gov.nl.ca.
