The Newfoundland Growlers announced today that the club has signed forward and Newfoundland native Adam Dawe ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 season.
Dawe, a product of Gander, was midway through his senior year of college hockey with the UConn Huskies last winter before electing to turn pro and sign with Newfoundland. In 21 appearances for the Growlers, he notched seven goals and two assists.
Dawe is the second local signing announced by the Dogs, following the signing of St. John’s native and NL senior league luminary, Jordan Escott last week.
The Growlers return to the Mary Brown’s Centre to open the 2023-24 ECHL season on Friday, October 20 as they host the Reading Royals.
