Eleven local companies and the Department of Technology are participating in the Defence Security and Aerospace Exhibition Atlantic in Halifax this week.

DEFSEC organizers help to put local companies into contact with major defence contractors will Lockheed Martin, Bombardier and Boeing as well as international departments of defence and military branches of government.

Among the local companies in attendance are Avalon Holographics, Bluedrop Training and Simulation, BluMetric Environmental, C-CORE, Kraken Robotics, Pennecon, ASL Innovations and Genoa Design.

The DEFESEC Atlantic event is the second largest of its kind in Canada.
