The Association of Allied Health Professionals has declared an impasse in its year-long collective bargaining process with government.
AAHP President Gordon Piercey says they’re now filing a request for conciliation on behalf of their more than 800 members.
He says it became clear to their negotiating team that the gap between the respective positions, especially as it relates to wages, is “too significant to be addressed” in the already prolonged collective bargaining process.
