Health care facilities in Newfoundland and Labrador do not have any immediate plans to return to mandatory masking to protect against respiratory illness.
Nova Scotia is going that route as we get down into the fall but NL Health Services says they are continuing with the current policies and practices. Personal protective equipment is available for those who wish to wear it.
COVID-19/respiratory illness self-screening is required for visitors/support persons entering health care facilities.
