Metro police picked up a man on their wanted list downtown St. John’s yesterday afternoon, but not before he gave officer a run for their money.
Police saw him walking in the area at about 4 p.m., but he tried to give them the slip.
Officers caught up with him after a short foot chase, and charged the 30-year-old with resisting arrest and breach of a release order.
