RCMP say a major investigation that began with the murder of Dale Porter in North River in June of 2014 has concluded with the convictions of a number of people linked to biker gang activity in the province.
Porter died of multiple stab wounds outside a home in North River. Nearly five years later Allan Winfield Potter was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
That investigation resulted in the launch of Project Bombard, an extensive organized crime investigation led by RCMP in this province.
That investigation has now concluded with the latest convictions against members of the Vikings Motorcycle Club.
They include 65-year-old Vincent Leonard Senior who was sentenced to five and half years in prison. Also convicted were 64-year-old Wayne Joseph Johnson, who was sentenced to five years, and 59-year-old James Percy Currant, who was sentenced to three and a half years.
