A serious collision on the Trans Canada Highway approximately 2 kms west of Clarenville has resulted in some significant traffic slowdowns.

RCMP say traffic is moving, albeit slowly.

Drivers are being asked to use caution in the area and RCMP are making the added request of drivers to avoid cell phone use.
