For the first time in decades, Canadian coins will bear the face of a new monarch.
The Royal Canadian Mint unveiled the new design featuring King Charles III, replacing the image of his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
A photo of the King, who is facing to the left on without a crown, will be on all coins produced going forward.
The first batch of coins bearing the King will begin circulating early next month.
