Northern Ireland Sinn Féin MP Mickey Brady will be paying a visit to the capital city tomorrow to mark the 25th anniversary of the historic Good Friday Agreement which brought about the eventual end to “The Troubles” in Northern Ireland.
Brady will attend a public meeting tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. at the Benevolent Irish Society on Harvey Road.
Brady says Canadians played an important role in helping to win the agreement and ensure its implementation—and have a continuing role in helping to fulfill what he calls the “transformative potential of the agreement,” in presenting a road map to Irish unity.
The visit is sponsored by the Friends of Sinn Féin (Canada) Inc. a not-for-profit company.
