The long-time member of the local arts community is being remembered for her “enormous contribution” to Newfoundland culture.
Mary (Whitey) White passed away on November 21 at the age of 75.
White was instrumental in forming both the Wonderful Grand Band and CODCO, and managed both shows as they became national television staples.
White was the long-time partner of actor Greg Malone and leaves sons Django and Dansiell and a large circle of family and friends.
A celebration of her life was held on Friday at the Wonderbolt SPACE in St. John’s.
