Harvey’s says it is continuing to work with all relevant authorities on clean up of an oil spill in a residential west end neighbourhood.
The spill, from a truck conducting fill-ups, occurred yesterday on Forbes Street in St. John’s.
The spill affected two storm drains which have been pumped out. Harvey’s says there is no evidence to suggest that the spill has affected any water ways.
The company is working with the City of St. John’s to ensure that the road opens when it is safe to do so.
