A man faces numerous charges including robbery with violence following an incident downtown St. John’s late yesterday afternoon.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
RNC arrested a 20-year-old man but they say during the arrest, the man assaulted them and damaged a police vehicle.
The man has been charged with robbery, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, property damage and breach of probation. He will appear in court today.
