The provincial government is exploring the possibility of selling, or leasing, the Bull Arm Fabrication Site—the largest of its kind in Atlantic Canada.
The province today issued a Request for Proposals for the possible sale or lease of the site, which was originally developed for Hibernia.
Possible sale of the 25 square km Trinity Bay fabrication site has been something that’s been bandied about for years.
The provincial government says the RFP will ensure that “all proposals are assessed in a fair and transparent manner.”
Lease of the property is currently held by Bull Arm Fabrication Inc, which operates the site on behalf of the province.
