St. Matthews Church in Grand Falls-Windsor has been heavily damaged by fire.
According to Fire Chief Vince MacKenzie, crews arrived on the scene around 9:00 last night to find the building ablaze.
The church was extensively damaged, there were no injuries.

This is the second church fire in the town over the last week. The Grand Falls-Windsor fire department responded to a fire under the floor of the House of God Chruch last Saturday. There were no injuries in that fire, and damage was contained to under the building.
